The Interdisciplinary Council on Developmental and Learning Disorders
The Interdisciplinary Council includes outstanding professionals from the different disciplines working with children and families where there are developmental and/or learning problems. Its aim is to improve the identification, prevention and treatment of developmental and learning disorders.
LEARNING DISABILITIES RESEARCH & TRAINING CENTER
The University of Georgia
The research and training for and about adolescents and adults with Specific Learning Disabilities. This Center and it's research are funded by the National Institute on Disability and Rehabilitation Research (NIDRR). The LDR&TC follows a Constituency-Oriented Research and Dissemination (CORD) policy to incorporate consumer reports and expertise throughout the planning and realization of both research and training goals. Implementation of all activities involve collaboration with national, state and local organizations.The LDR&TC focuses upon four comprehensive research strands by integrating the resources of six major institutions: the University of Georgia, Roosevelt Warm Springs Institute for Rehabilitation, Georgia University Affiliated Program, Auburn University, James Madison University and the Center for Learning Potential. These four strands follow the conceptual, regulatory, and consumer frameworks surrounding needs of adults with Specific Learning Disabilities.
Learning Disabilities Association of America
LDA is a non-profit organization of volunteers including individuals with learning disabilities, their families and professionals.
LDA is dedicated to identifying causes and promoting prevention of learning disabilities and to enhancing the quality of life for all individuals with learning disabilities and their families by encouraging effective identification and intervention, fostering research, and protecting their rights under the law. LDA seeks to accomplish this through awareness, advocacy, empowerment, education, service and collaborative efforts.
National Centre For Learning Disabilities
Since 1977 NCLD has reached out to individuals with LD, their families, educators, researchers, and others committed to increasing public awareness of and opportunities for people with LD.

You can see the explanation of a word in the pop-up hint, and hear and read the pronunciation of the word. You can make a choice among lots of dictionaries (English, German, French, Italian etc.).Vocabulary drills. A couple of very efficient tests will help you remember new words in the shortest possible time.
